How reference your tenants in 5 easy steps
1.Chose an online provider

Most good providers will give you an example of the report before you buy. Also look for a provider that offers through email, this is a convenient way to get all checks done in one place.
2.Get all the tenants details
Most good providers will give you a form to give to your tenant to capture all their details. Make sure you have their name and three years previous address history to complete the check. When you are getting these details make sure to ask for their employer’s details and salary so you can check these after the credit check. All this information can be added online and kept for a later date.
3.Run the credit check
This should take few minutes. Once all the details have been added to the system you must click top run the check. You will see the following information.
If they are on the electoral register
If they have any undisclosed addresses
If they have ever been declared bankrupt

4.Check their references

What is their salary?
Are they in full time employment?
Are they recommended as a tenant?
5.Print of the full report and file or simply save it to your computer.
